Ron and I have been so lucky to have a roof and good food last night. We were up till the wee hours of the morning reposting news that may be useful to the people, wet and cold out in the rain. The news left us heartbroken, we cannot possibly avert our eyes…

We are all bound by sadness. There are little gods inside us and we are, at the end of it all, one.

The number of people who turned up at the volunteer center along examiner street was amazing. People from all walks of life, the young and even the old were ready to reach out.

In the spirit of solidarity, we ask everyone who are able to donate what they can and share their time to the people who are affected by this storm.

“Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, it’s at the end of your arm, as you get older, remember you have another hand: The first is to help yourself, the second is to help others.” ~Audrey Hepburn
